This account is about a true miracle, actually two miracles; not only because this man was healed of his paralysis, but also because his sins were forgiven! The mere fact that this man was carried on a stretcher indicates that his paralysis was severe. But it’s important to note that before this man was healed physically, Jesus healed him spiritually, by forgiving his sins! In a word, the greatest miracle of all came first! |
