Have you ever been on a road trip or family vacation and taken a wrong turn or gotten lost? I certainly have and often enough that I can recall my wife saying, “Please, let’s stop and ask for directions!” But, in typical male fashion my usual response was to say, “Honey, I know where we are; that’s not the problem. The problem is that I’m not sure that where we are is where we want to be!” What is it about us men and our refusal to stop and ask someone for directions? Is it pride? Or ego? Or, is it just plain stubbornness?
