This phrase, “If only … if only” kept going through my mind over and over again. Both Martha and Mary had said: “If only You had been here, Lord, my brother would not have died.” Over the course of four days, as they waited anxiously for Jesus to come to them, both Martha and Mary rehearsed in their minds what they would say to Him.
