In spite of what you might have read or heard, the biblical account of creation, as written in your bible, is not a fable; it is not a myth; nor is it merely a theory. And although the bible’s account is not exhaustive, it is nevertheless God’s way of explaining to us what happened “in the beginning.” The late Francis Schaeffer once said [and I am paraphrasing here] “Unless you believe the first eleven chapters of Genesis, the rest of the bible will prove meaningless.” Brothers and sisters, it is that simple; it is that profound!
