The season of Advent is upon us; it’s a season like no other for it ushers in a sense of expectancy and hope, merriment and cheer. But, we should also experience a sense of urgency. And I say this because each week builds upon the one preceding it until finally there is a heightened spiritual awareness of God’s presence with us with the lighting of the Christ candle.
