Suppose someone asked you, “What does faith mean to you?” how would you respond? Well, perhaps you would begin by quoting Scripture, which is always a good place to start. For instance, you might quote Hebrews 11:1 which says: “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for; the conviction of things not seen.” But then some might perceive this as a “cop out.” After all, the person specifically asked you: “What does faith mean to you … personally?” And so, in your own words, how would you describe your Christian faith?
